The Discrete Dynamical Models Group is part of the  LIAFA  laboratory (CNRS  and  University Denis Diderot Paris 7 ).  It is composed by those people in the laboratory interested in the study of some discrete-time discrete-topology dynamical models, and some nice related objects.

The main approach we develop is to consider the structure of the set of configurations of a discrete dynamical model starting from a  given initial configuration. For many such systems, we have shown that this set naturally partially ordered by the transition relation is a lattice (partially ordered set so that every pair of elements admits an infimum and a supremum). See for example the following nice drawings of such lattices. This latticial structure can be seen as a very strong convergence criterion for the considered system.
