Funding is anticipated from the US National Science Foundation to support attendance at the Conference by new researchers from US institutions.

Participants interested in receiving this support should e-mail a request to Tom Kurtz. The request should include a CV and list of publications and a brief statement describing how attendance at the Conference will benefit the research program of the applicant. Applicants should also arrange for a brief letter or reference from a senior researcher to be sent to the same e-mail address.

Priority for support will be given to recent PhDs within five years of their degrees and graduate students in the final year of their studies. Materials should be submitted by April 5, 2008, to ensure consideration.
